Founded May 1, 1987, Landin Inc., a third-party administrator,
specializes in the creation, development and maintenance of
tailored self-insured and related programs for both public and
private entities.
Its services include comprehensive claims administration,
excess insurance placement, medical cost containment, underwriting, marketing, program
administration, payroll auditing, as well as loss control and safety
engineering.
David Carl Landin, CPCU, AIC, founder and Chairman of the Board
was involved in the creation and development of several self-insured worker's
compensation programs now operating in Virginia.
As a result of merging with the former Divers & Associates, Inc. (D & A) in February 2001, Landin, Inc. was able to expand its services to include a strong network of over
600 insurance agents throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia to support in the
marketing of its self-insured and related programs. D & A had entered
the marketplace in 1982 by offering two self-insured groups for marketing
through its agency network. These groups are the Commonwealth Contractors Group
Self-Insurance Association and the Virginia Commerce Group Self-Insurance
Association, both of whom have grown substantially in both premium volume and
membership.
With a highly experienced and knowledgeable staff,
